Is Spam destroying your email use?
We receive more than 50 junk email each day with much less than that in 'real' emails. Many customers receive much more than fifty. Unfortunately the rubbish means it's easier to miss real email that provides our contact with friends and businesses.
Our spam solution is Ella for Spam Control which effectively sorts the email into spam, news or real email. link

Windows XP Service Pack 2 info update.
When Windows XP Service Pack 2 first came out in September last year I advised caution before installing it.
We've built a solid procedure to smooth the Service Pack installation and are ready to help you if you haven't installed it yet.
If you haven't already installed it, we recommend you do, or ask us to help.
It's most important to keep your Windows and Office programs up to date. link
Backup, before you lose it!
I'm not ever happy when a customer wants their computer fixed and their personal data recovered when they haven't taken the basic precautions to make regular backups.
We hope you never see one of these errors
-
an MYOB error 1199 as one of our customers did recently.
It translates to your data file is un-usable and un-repairable. Use a recent backup. -
or HAL.DLL is missing or corrupt.
It translated (in this case to) the windows folder has disappeared. Anything at all that was stored in the windows folder is GONE. -
Occasionally we (you or I) will start working on a document or data file and have a little accident.
The simplest way is often to simply restore from the most recent backup, or waste a lot of productive time just getting things back to the way before we commenced.
